Adric and I went to the zoo yesterday! We were going to go to the zoo Monday and the Cave of the Mounds Wednesday, but his car broke down on his way to his parent's place on father's day, so he couldn't be back in time. The forecasts kept saying storms for Wednesday; I checked Tuesday and the hour-by-hour forecasts all had little thunderstorm

Yes, clearly that part was written by a particularly clueless guy; no woman would ever think that was a good idea. =| (I see your Hermione/Snape and raise you a Harry/Snape!) Those parts did seem more of a caricature of an action movie than an actual action movie, really.

Ahhhh. Or like Tim Kring! "We want to keep surprising our viewers!" Yes, Tim Kring, but surprising us with something that (if we look at the previous episodes) makes sense is different than shouting "GIANT SPACE ANTS!" and suddenly there are giant space ants out of nowhere.

It did! I saw it already online, but this had the advantage of being bigger and easier-to-see. Yeah, I still have no idea what to expect from that movie, considering that it isn't being billed as the first part of a trilogy or quintilogy or anything. Still not sure what I'm going to do about possibly seeing it. =/ I don't want to give them any money since they show no signs of fixing their casting decisions, but if it is at the very least pretty I may want to see it at a higher resolution than in an internet window. It may end up like the Golden Compass movie; pretty, but only a withered zombie of something once great.
