Rainy and cool
It's been rainy and "cool" these last few days. The type of storm is a bit unusual for this time of year: it glided in slowly and has stayed like a welcome houseguest, dropping steady rain or sprinkles at any hour of the day. Temps get into the low 80s. A nice change from the triple digits

We have been going through a (week-long) cool and cloudy spell too, but for us that is run of the mill. When we visited my parents this summer (in NC) we pretty much completely missed out an any really good thunder storms (we had one that teased pretty nicely, but never really came down on us, and an impressive front-line downpour that strangely had no lightning at all), so I am really missing thunderstorms right now.
