I use a CPAP (continuous positive air pressure) machine to prevent my soft tissues from collapsing into my airway while I sleep. I was diagnosed last October with obstructive sleep apnea; I started using one on a regular basis in March.

I use two kinds of masks: the Breeze and the Mirage. The Breeze is more comfortable overall because it seals over my nostrils, but it can cause irritation of those mucous membranes; the Mirage seals around my nose and is noisier, but it stays on better.
