It appears that my special brand of magic has decided to take a little vacation. It is not writer's block because I still feel perfectly capable of writing. However, when I do, nothing happens.

It looks like people have had their various abilities and skills mixed up with other people. I tried to do a little sword practice earlier and ...it didn't go that well.

Oh dear... I hope whoever wound up with my power doesn't write something that eats them. That could be bad.

Something seems to have happened to my powers, too. It seems to be widespread, whatever it is.

It would likely be a good idea to locate the person who wound up with your powers and give them a few lessons. I expect that someone completely untrained and suddenly able to wield power at the level of the Black does not fit in the category of "good things."

I couldn't agree more; I hope we can figure out who it is before something too dramatic happens.

In slightly better news, I do believe I've found where my powers have wandered off to.

You certainly aren't the only one. Though it isn't so much that I've lost my powers that I seem to have picked up a set of new ones. On the more positive side, I feel unusually clear-minded.

Well, that is good at least!

If it weren't for the fact that I seem to have gained the ability to turn things into other things, I'd assume that I was still completely drained dry from forcing that fog out. It always surprises me just how quiet it can get in my mind when I'm no longer picking up people's thoughts.

That sounds like a rather useful ability!

You're not the only one, Auntie. I can't go inside without thinking a room wants to eat me alive, and I can cook better than even my best.

Suddenly I do not feel so bad about merely losing my abilities.

Count yourself lucky, is all I'm saying. There's something seriously twisted going on here!
