I love the idea of a touch tattoo. Ginny would definitely be the kind of girl to get one and think how she could use it to her advantage! I love how Harry worries about not telling her that he's all hers - don't worry, Harry, the fact you're being all "Bed now pls?" says enough! ;D

Uno -- the Touch Tattoo -- brilliant. i'm not a fan of getting inked but if it's a Touch Tattoo, oh boy.
Secundo -- harry and ginny just come alive in your hands. passionate, funny, loving, honest, and so damn adorable without being annoying. and the wit. the wit! i will never look at a tin of beans the same way again.
Tertio -- i will read anything you write. when i first started reading H/G fic i read some really ...not-so-good ones. then i found you, jenadamson/pocketfullof, and rbecca/flyingcarpet. and you three convinced me to stick around and keep reading, and since then i've enjoyed your work so much and discovered a slew of other talented writers (like tosca, pumpkinpasty, irislock, lyras, quidditchmum, to name a few).

Oh, what a nice review! I really appreciate it. I don't plan any of these little exchanges, not really, but the characters just kind of take me there. I'm always glad to know the humor is actually humorous to the reader. :) I think we're lucky to have so many great writers in the H/G community who support each other. And such great reviewers!

I was afraid I would cringe at this, but you actually made me smile - in a good way! The tin of beans crack is a riot! How do you come up with these ideas? And the Touch Tatoo - hmm, I might change my view on tatoos after this. :-)

ALL smut should be written like this: with humor and imaginative twists, rather than as an exhaustive list of anatomical parts. I hope you can translate some of this over to your original fiction, even though I know that you have to write to (very narrow-minded, imho) requirements there.

Do you have any updates on your original work? Last piece of news I'm aware of was that you were asked to submit 3 chapters to editors.

I know what you mean - so many love scenes can be cringeworthy - I certainly read a few from Harlequin. :) I'm not of the tattoo generation, so I've never felt the need to get one, but a magical tattoo seems like a lot of fun. :)

I still haven't heard back from the editors - the usual wait is six months, so I'll start following up in June. I'm not watching my inbox this week since tey're all out of the office for the Easter holiday and the royal wedding.
