today i got a notice for jury duty.. honestly i would be excited since its for a federal jury, but with full time work and school, plus not living in collier county any more, i dont think i'm going to be able to do it.. so now i'm going to try and appeal for deferral, hopefully they'll hear my plight and let me off.

this storm was a bust, i appreciate the paid day off from work, but the two days off from school is a pain in the ass, i didnt want to start playing "catch up" in our 2nd week.  yesterday i bought 2 tickets to see ortiz vs shamrock 3, i'm taking my dad.. he's talked about going to a ufc event ever since he bought it on pay-per-view 11 years ago.. Thinking ahead makes work go faster, and gives me something to look forward to... I think I'm going to road trip up to Georgia this winter break, or New York... maybe both. Its been a long time since I've been out of state, and I'd like to see snow before i turn 80, though the thought of driving in it doesn't really appeal to me.  Hopefully by then ( Read more... )
