So, it has been a while since posting, I blame Twitter for that. Granted I don't post much there either as it feels like my life is too boring to post and if anything cool does happen duncandahusky has good write-ups. Granted, I do read LJ and Twitter a couple times a day

"Chosen" may well mean that his immediate primary bond is with Tom, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of scope for love over time. I'm finding that my bond with mischamute is a thing that evolves over years, growing ever more permanent, more complex and more beautiful, even if akeela is the one who, through the vicissitudes of fortune, gets to spend more time around him.

Congrats on your pet ownership. I went from owning no pets to three in the course of three-years. One and a half of them are technically mine. I first got my cat, Cindy, from a local shelter when she was almost two-years-old. Then, my boyfriend moved in with me and his two dogs Morgan and Seamus. When Seamus pasted away, we adopted Lillie. At first Lillie was attached to me solely because she was attached to her past owner's wife, who had passed away. Now, almost a year later, she is more attached to my boyfriend - but she will listen to me most of the time. It takes a lot of time (and sometimes money) to be a dog owner vs. a cat owner.
