Thank you so much for the translation. Her future plans sound interesting - something journalism-related, maybe?

I want her to use her sister's connections in the Cirque du Soleil to get a job there. *laughs* That would be awesomely amazing....

Whatever she ends up doing, be it performing, journalism, dance instructor, or whatever, I'm sure she'll be great♥

Would be truly awesome, wouldn't it? :D Sounds like she's got an inkling of what she wants to do, which is more than a lot of folks will say this early on.

Q. What influenced your decision to retire?
"I retire because I was so tired to have been pushed like this for more than a year and they wanted to renew the top star line-up like every two years to bring new fans and... errr... sorry, Kobayashi-shachô".

Uh, I'm sorry I can't help being like some old Lucheni each time I hear the company president speaking. I read somewhere (where was it ? Takarazuka for Beginners ?) that they needed a fix amount of retirees every year to regulate the number of siennes by troupe : they are way more cynical treating performers like 操り人形 that we'll never be criticizing this very fact :)

Mizu was looking so thin and pushed like Asako that I'm not surprised she gets to retire now - she totally will enjoy having some time for her before thinking what's next. And well, she made her way in the Zuka biz, achieving all possible goals one can wish for, so we can't say it's a sad, unexpected retiring. And it makes people speculate on the next top whether it will be Kimu or one big surprise, which is good for the biz.

I know that's true, but I choose to believe what they say or else I'll be miserable all of the time getting all fired up at Hankyu. And in the case of top stars, well- *shrugs* They've got to leave at some point. And the longer they've stayed, the more they know the reality of the situation they're in as well, so.... nope, not going to cry a river over any injustices.
