My dearest LJ,

I am really sorry I haven't talked to you in so long. You see, I went to Barcelona to see Misha and Jim and Sam and Jensen and Jared and David and Claudio and I was just so over-excited afterwards that I completely couldn't sit still long enough to post anything. There was a monastery and fake!stalking too and oh, LJ, it was all ( Read more... )

Glad you made it back safe! Road trips are indeed epic monsters; you want to get there so bad that you can't sit back and enjoy the ride. And I think your car was a lot more comfortable than Sam and Dean's. Lucky you?

My sister called yesterday. I do hope you have time to send her a mail so she'll stop freaking out and calling me. I'm afraid for this child Mum, I really am. @__@

Not to worry son. I emailed.her earlier and we are just arranging the details of meeting tomorrow.

Poor Sam and Dean if their car isn't comfy! It was bad enough for us. Still, we did have lot of fun!

Hm, I vaguely remember a post about a guy with pot on a train, was that yours?

As for pie, there's pie, and there's *PIE*. If you didn't like it, you had pie.

PIE generally comes with ice cream, lots of berries, and a flaky almost-croissant-like crust. In my area of California I consider it a seasonal item available only during the local commercial berry season. In fall there is a variant made with pumpkin custard, and one made with pecans but the latter seems to be addictive for men and supplies of it must thus be carefully watch-dogged.

I'm told there's a similar item containing apples instead of berries, but this is sacrilege. Crusts containing chocolate pudding, bananas, or (gasp!) rheubarb are down-right profanity.
