Okay, so I have theories about all of the shady stuff happening on H50 these days. Well, okay, I have one theory. I also mention a spoiler under this cut to support my speculation.

I've thought this since (was it last week?) the ep where Joe drives away and calls someone and says "We've got to move you, Steve's getting too close."

Yep, that's when I started thinking about it too! I've been wondering if she is Shelburne, and why he would have mentioned it to Wo Fat if she was, but that is a good theory.

And I'd have to go back and rewatch the ep with Noshimuri, but what if he's a good guy, too? And was playing along with Joe with the whole kidnapping/trunk thing. And Joe helped get him back to Japan and they worked together to relocate Steve's mom.

I've been thinking this too! OH MY GOD, IT'S COMING TOGETHER. Okay, Noshimuri's brother was the dude that set the car bomb, right? And he was a former cop! If it's a set-up, then it's possible that Hiro is a good guy and so was his brother! They faked her death together. Maybe he was a mole in Wo Fat's organization or something. Maybe Wo Fat ordered her to be killed and they faked it so Wo Fat would believe she was dead. I WANT ALL OF THIS TO BE TRUE ( ... )

ngl, I want Steve's mom to be a spy so bad. I don't even care if it's cliche, this whole show is cliche, I want it like burning. I'm actually writing an AU fic right now where Steve's mom was in Naval Intelligence, and that's why she was killed, because she stuck her nose where it didn't belong. (Completely unrelated to any of this.)

Yeah, Steve's gonna be pissed! He's already pissed. Ugh, so much Steve angst coming down the pipes. I CAN'T WAIT. ♥___♥

Also, Joe mentioned that he wanted to get to Hiro before Wo Fat did. It'd make sense if Hiro and Joe were in this together, that Joe publicly "kidnapped" him to protect their cover, but really he was trying to get him away safely to protect him from Wo Fat, because Hiro was a mole in Wo Fat's organization and maybe Wo Fat found out or wanted to cut off loose ends or whatever.

The more I think about this, the more convinced I am that it's all true.
