even though i've only moved one block closer downtown, the trash comes at a much earlier time. much, much earlier. on Nichols Street sometimes the trash doesn't come until ten or eleven in the morning. here the truck wakes me up at six-thirty (even though it's around the corner. it sort of works like a five minute warning.) i really need to get

I don't remember what it was when I lived up north but here in the south a lot of the polls are done in the schools so they stop school so the kids won't be in danger of the strange people. Not really sure why college has it off though lol

i'm still not used to schools being so super-secure. i have to be buzzed into the kids' schools and that freaks me out a little. i can't just walk in to get them. i dunno. scary new world i suppose.

Yeah my highschool, parents had to sign in and wear badges and stuff. The school is working more on security since a few weeks ago a guy walked right into the school and sexually assulted the mother of his child. *sigh*
