DBZ marathoning

With all the excitement of the DBZ special episode, me, my bros, and cousins all got in the mood and have been marathoning DBZ since last night.  Just finished watching till the end of the Vegeta battle in the original Japanese version for the first time, and was amazed at how much cooler it was than the first dubbed version by...was it, that "

DBZ IS THE BEST action series ever! I love it ;;

I have seen the fight against freezer recently, and there's no doubt... it's the best.
I have tried my best to be available to see it, It keeps me focused no matter how many times I have see it xD

For all its shortcomings, DBZ pretty much defined the shonen action title and refined or established elements that every single shonen action title borrows from to this day.

Of course if you want to get technical about it, DBZ borrows a lot from Fist of the North Star (glowing battle auras et al), but it refined those elements into a more marketable formula.
