DBZ marathoning
With all the excitement of the DBZ special episode, me, my bros, and cousins all got in the mood and have been marathoning DBZ since last night. Just finished watching till the end of the Vegeta battle in the original Japanese version for the first time, and was amazed at how much cooler it was than the first dubbed version by...was it, that "Ocean" group or whatever?
After all this time, I still think it's the best action anime ever. Yes, still better than Naruto/Bleach or any other Shonen Jump title. If only they had the same animation quality in the 80's/90's as they do now...man, DBZ would be untouchable.
Anyways, I missed the early Black Friday rush for the first time in years. Had a little too much to drink last night and just knocked out. We tried hitting the stores in the afternoon but pretty much all the deals were cleaned out. I did end up buying a 2GB flash drive and the Ratatouille DVD for pretty cheap, though, so I'm happy. :)
