This is straining my memory, BUT, I'm pretty sure that after Grams raised the shield to get Stephan out, she was too weak to put it back in place. The door shut but the barrier was up. No one realized it and it didn't seem to matter because the tomb vamps were all dessicated from not having had any blood for 150 years. BUT Damon was so angry when he realized that Katherine wasn't in there that he threw the bag of blood that he brought to revive her against the wall. It broke. After everyone left some of the blood trickled down the tomb vamps. They were strong enough to push the door open and since there was no barrier they left the tomb.

What I can't remember is who re-established the ward. It may have been Bonnie, but I honestly don't remember.

I totally agree with you. The episode tonight, though, felt more like an Epilogue than a finale. Like that chapter in the back of the book that was only put there to wrap things up, but couldn't fit in with the rest of the drama. The Jeremy thing is sketchy too, I agree.

I love Klaus. Call me sick, but I find myself strangely attracted to him after what he did with Stefan.....hehe. Interested in seeing what happens. I'm kinda glad that they didn't leave it on a super cliff hanger though. Like, knowing that no one is dying is really nice. Because I have a feeling that Supernatural next week will be enough for five finales.

Yeah, next week ... *shakes and cries* ...

I agree, Stefan will be much more interesting now that he's with Klaus. But why does Klaus want HIM? It doesn't seem like Klaus needs anyone.

I hope Stefan finds a way to let Damon know where Elijah is so they can bring all the other originals back to life and stage a vamp/hybrid war.

*plots evil things*

Yeah. I feel like Klaus wants him just because he saw an opportunity to gain a new play toy to mess with.

I got the feeling that all those other coffins? Yeah -- That's Klaus' family. I'd love to see all of them get out and tear him limb from limb.

In conclusion, yay! And also what? But mostly yay. With a large dose of D'OH! thrown in.

LOL. Pretty much with you on that.

Being a casual TVD watcher, this show confuses me no end. I am thinking this might make Stefan a more interesting character next season though (here's hoping...)

Jeremy is gonna be the ghost whisperer!! D: D: D: D:

Is that what that was?! I was thinking they were ~literally~ there, like maybe bringing him back to life brought the long list of deceased back to life or something. Your theory makes more sense.

I can't imagine casually watching. I never miss it, because if you miss it, you will have missed like, at least 4 deaths. THE REVOLVING DOOR, I TELL YOU.

Hmmm ... well, they were certainly acting like spirits ... aside from that they shouldn't be ABLE to BE spirits b/c they were vampires, I just figured that since Jeremy 'glimpsed the B side' he'd be able to see through the veil, or whatever. But was it just me or did they both look kind of evil? O.o

Only Supernatural kills more characters!! Jeremy is becoming the Dean Winchester in terms of deaths!

Honestly I think TVD kills way more characters than Supernatural. But to be fair, we'd have to only compare seasons 1 and 2 of each.

GROUP PROJECT! \o/
