Craig's List lolz

Apr 07, 2011 23:21

So, out of sheer depression and desperate times calling for desperate measures, I searched Craig's List for job listings. These made me lol. I figured, since I can't get a new job out of it, at least I could share the lolz.

Lolz within, serious bsns people need not apply )

As someone who's currently in the market for another job, #2 is SO VERY TEMPTING. I almost have the credit subtitles for Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail memorized; does that further qualify me??

LOL - yeah, craigslist can be a crapshoot, for sure. I have gotten some good jobs through them though ... you never know. :-)

Really? I'm always so worried to send inquiries, so many of them seem to be scams.

Yeah, it really depends, for sure. But the site is getting bigger by the day so it can't hurt to respond if something seems legitimate.

I've also gotten good work through Craigslist.

By all means skip any of them that purport to be "work at home" opportunities (the only legit ones I've seen were transcription jobs), or that ask you for any information other than your resume.

But as long as you're not giving out all your data, or anything financially related, you should be good.
