Okay, on to the review:
I think that Dean's treatment and reactions to Sam have a lot to do with him basing his responses out of his own experiences. Part of it might even be jealousy - ALL he wanted when he got back from Hell was to not be able to feel - but I think a HUGE part of it is extreme grief. He just lost his brother, AGAIN.I don't disagree with this, there are definitely multiple factors playing into Dean's reaction. I would also add one more that strikes me as one of the biggies: He is SICK AND TIRED of being lied to. Let's face it, there's a lot of history of lies -- and while he's a professional liar himself, it doesn't make it 1) any more pleasant to be on the receiving end of lies, and 2) Sam lying to HIM has a certain history of leading to Bad Things Happening. Even when Sam does what he does from the best intentions. Come to think of it, I'm tired of the lies too. Why do beings think it's a good idea to use Winchesters? Talk about knives with no handles. The more leverage you apply, the more appallingly dangerous they become. The only half-safe way to use them is to help them do something they've already decided to do. The lesson Crowley should have learned is not that Winchesters make great power tools, but that there are no user-serviceable parts within. Do not attempt to open.
