The comp is... I can't say dead, but definitely in its winter sleep. Doing just about anything - opeining a program, for example - takes about half an hour, and loading a webpage about 15 minutes. I did join Yuletide. I doubted a lot, but when I caught myself checking the calendar to see whether I still have time to join, I decided my subconscious wanted to join. Maybe it'll provide me with a story, too.

In the honour of the event I made a yuletide tag for my journal and went back and tagged all the relevant entries.

Can't decide whether I want to join Yuletide fest this year... I've begun to think fest writing isn't good for me - fics come out bland and uninteresting - but on the other side, it's Yuletide... I did it for three years already and I don't like to leave things. And I got a very good fic last year (even with a bonus teddy bear ;) )

The Yuletide archive is open! And my gift is deliciously long story about Ivan Vorpatril, so long that I hesitate to dive in straight - I feel like savouring it so I'm still looking around. And my recipient liked her story!

Oh, and I'm finished with work!
