Should I start cross-posting my book reviews to this journal, or leae the community altogether and only post the book reviews here? But in this case there'll be a danger of this journal being bogged down in book lists

Have you consider creating a new journal just for that? If you make that a community journal, you don't have to log in and out to post.

I was about to say that you should create a LJ comm where you and your friends can post book reviews. ;)

Something that comes from a book you love. WE could post reviews and even ways to find the books if possible :)

You should start a book log. They really are a lot of fun. I get a good 80% of my book recommendations from reading them.

I agree that book journals are fun... I have one that I started at the beginnning of the year, tea_and_cookies, and I love having everything all nice and neat and there :)
