I just wrote my first scene for the Welsh Verse! It's more-or-less in the middle of the story and it did NOT go where I had planned. I love it, regardless. Yay writing!

I have 17K of notes about a new Merlin series I'm writing. 17k! Of just notes!

Side note: I may know how to write/read Welsh by the time I'm done with this series. Should that worry me?

Dear god. You know you've taken world building too far when you create family trees with pictures. Why do I even need pictures for a fic?

This will either end up being a very well thought out series or an extremely pretenious attempt at a series.

Time will tell.

Today, I re-read a really old fic of mine (last updated 2007) and I actually found myself missing the hayday of K_T. I know that makes me a dinosaur because all the original writers are long gone (200+ weeks according to LJ). But seriously, what happened? Sigh.

What do you do when inspiration randomly strikes 5 years after a fandom's last call?Bah
