Despite spending most of my social media time on Facebook and Twitter, it's still sad to come to LiveJournal and see my "Friends" pages totally blankI guess if I want to read something, I have to post something. Livejournal is largely dead if you're not Russian. It's a shame, because I've had this thing for ten years, now. I'm not abandoning mine, but I do post a whole lot less, largely because of an awareness that what I write for the most part won't be read.

I'm not abandoning mine either. I'm not entirely comfortable in Tumblr land, and sometimes I like to put up longer rants than Twitter supports!

I came to all of these places, at first to stay in touch with Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles fans. I have to admit, though, that I'm easily distracted and write about other subjects, sometimes just to try my hand at them and get feedback.

I suppose I could write on Facebook, under my legal name, but I don't want to prejudice potential employers, or embarrass my child, when I drift beyond the boundaries of political correctness. :-)
