Okay, vacation plans have finally been settled!

Was informed that my W-2 tax forms were available online so I logged into Turbo Tax and e-filed them (both Federal and State). So tax stuff is done for the year now. I also noticed that in my 2008 year I finally matched my gross income from 2002, when I first started working in my current department. Ya, I worked THAT MUCH overtime that year. * ( Read more... )

So, the trip to Japan. It was a lot of fun, and traveling with Nessa was a total blast. Christmas went surprisingly well. I got a new desktop computer to play games on (a 20" iMac) and I gave my sister my old HP laptop (15" system) to use for school. Finally got off of my rear and started cleaning my apartment after work last night, something that has been needing to be done for a few weeks now. Starting laundry... 10 minutes. Okay, first it was the power windows on my Jeep.

Now it's the harddrive on my gaming laptop.

Every time I boot it up a BIOS warning pops telling me that it believes the harddrive is going to fail at any moment, and asks if I REALLY want to boot using it. I've run check disk and it did discover and flag a large number of damaged sectors, and now ( Read more... )
