The time has come...

So, last night I informed the roommate that I wanted her to be moved out by the end of September. That should (hopefully) give her enough time to get organized, finally find a job, and figure out where she is going to live.

For those who might complain about me kicking out someone who is down on their luck, I present the

I will likely end up finding another roommate, however, I am not in a rush to do so. One of the reasons why I picked this particular place was because I could, if barely, afford to live there myself without any extra income helping me out. I figure for the next round I'm going to be pretty picky.

I've never understood the "I'm broke but oh hey I am going to all these cons" mentality. It's not that poor people shouldn't be allowed to have entertainment, not at all. But when you borrow $750 from someone to pay your rent, and that someone you borrowed from only chooses to go to one or two conventions a year due to monetary concerns, and then you make a FB post going on and on about the next THREE cons you're going to in the next few months.... Ugh. Yeah.

Sometimes you have to be the bad guy, put your foot down, and say "no more."
