Snowflake Day Three

Jan 14, 2017 13:49

I'm back! Heh.

We had an ice storm, starting Thursday night. Fortunately, not a killer storm like we had way back in 2007, which destroyed trees and took the power down for almost a week. We just got a sort of glazing, this time around, and the streets are basically clear, and the power only went out a couple times, briefly, over night.

No damage this year, so glad! )

Good luck with hitting your goals! Getting up and moving is its own reward and I found it became addicting.

Brrrr! You stay warm, too!

Pick up an exercise bike from someone who bought it with good intentions then gave up! Watch your shows while you exercise!

Yes! I should. Or a treadmill. I have a little trampoline? Which is cool, except i have to change to use it, i can't bounce up and down without a bra of some kind, so *very* annoying.

But i should watch craig's list and see.... :)

Yes, running requires support bras too ... cycling not so much.

The most frustrating part is that it didn't used to. Stupid bigger boobs. Argh.

Good luck with getting your story finished - it's so close you can taste it.

And I know what you mean about getting up and exercising - I'm at the stage where I need to do something or everything will seize up. I have a membership to our local pool and last week was on leave from work, so was planning to swim every day, and then found that was the week it was closed for annual maintenance - typical!

Waving at you from Canada. Even here on the west coast it's a lot colder than normal. Brrr..

Thank you!

How frustrating! Geez. I wish there was a pool here to swim in, but only in the summer. Meh.

I was talking to farmers last week in Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, and they were telling me it was thirty below, forty below, with tons of snow.

Very brr!

Oh my god, that is freaking cold. Here on the Island it's one degree today and people are complaining because that's cold for here. I sometimes think coastal BC'rs forget they live in Canada. *g*

Well, that's pretty chilly! But yeah - freakin' forty below? Gods no.

Yeah, if I don't start exercising, I'm afraid my WIPs will be permanently so... :(

I look in the mirror and wonder what happened to that youngish-kinda sorta girl with the happy smile and the head full of porn ideas? And why can't sex count as exercise? Is it because it's fun? *pout*

MISS THANG! Don't say that.
*clutches you too bosom*

Heeeee!
I am just so fucking uncomfortable in my body. My stupid boobs are like a damn C/D cup now, never have been this big, and they're a fucking *pain in my ass*. I hate it. Plus i hate spending money on clothes, so I refuse to buy new jeans when the couple pair i have are barely worn, but don't fit, so i have no jeans to wear.

ANNOYING.

Where do the years go? I'm 65 in a few months but still feel 18 inside. I've lost 60lb since last May so fending off the age effect to a degree. No asthma or back pain any more.

We're doing okay here in Essex, UK. There have been a few local evacuations but it turned out to be less than feared.

Lovely to see you still posting and happy. You'll get the fic finished, in your own time. *hugs*

Aw, thank you so much, bb!

One of the old guard. :)

I'm going to be 50 this year and yeah - 18 at heart, dear gods, i do not deserve to have this creaky, grumbly body! Stupid age. Stupid Crohn's.

Glad you're all doing alright, sheesh. And yeah - i gotta get my old bones moving or they're gonna fuse in a chair shape.

*smooch*
Thanks for popping in. :)

Hello lovely lady

I came over to reply to a comment of tabaqui's and saw you'd left a comment.

It was wonderful to see your name pop up. Glad to know that you are doing well. Maz tells me that you stay in touch and lets me know how you are doing.

Time is flying by isn't it. You're nearly 65 - I'll be 53 this year - god, where does the time go.

Hugs you very hard. Drop in from time to time, we'd all love to see your name.

Hello, sweetie.

Yep, still alive and kicking, actually in better health than for years. Wish I'd dropped the excess weight and exercised more decades ago but no point repining. Nothing will reverse the calendar, sadly!

Still, I love my life here in (not so sunny at the moment) Essex and the occasional communication with Maz is very enjoyable. I hope you're well and happy too.

Hugs you right back.
