Snowflake Day Three

Jan 14, 2017 13:49

I'm back! Heh.

We had an ice storm, starting Thursday night. Fortunately, not a killer storm like we had way back in 2007, which destroyed trees and took the power down for almost a week. We just got a sort of glazing, this time around, and the streets are basically clear, and the power only went out a couple times, briefly, over night.

No damage this year, so glad! )

But it looks so pretty! Snow and ice are a giant pain in the butt, but they do look lovely once they've settled! lol.

Good luck with the goals honey! ♥

They *are* pretty, but I sure didn't want my maples to be cracked in half.

Thanks, bb!

I really hope you can reach your goals :) And 2007? Kyrill? I remember that hurrican. I think the worst we ever had!

Hey, btw, regarding exercising. You wanna join? :) http://somersault-j.livejournal.com/110277.html

Ack, yes! Some skeery stuff. :)
And thanks, bb. :)

I saw your post about that, but i hadn't really explored it. It's basically...a story told via pdf, with instructions for exercise, or...something else?

Yes, you download the PDF. Everyday you have to do a special type of exercises.

Like...last year we did the Hero's Journey. One day we had to fight against enemies (which was for example doing boxing exercises, shadow boxing). One day we had to fight dragons. There are 3 levels and you can choose every day which level you wanna do. And you can do all this at home and you won't need any equipment.

And we can cheer each others on.

I'll make another post before Feb 1st. Thiink about it :)

Okay, neat! That actually sounds pretty cool. If you, say, choose level 1 one day, and do the exercises, and feel like you need more, can you then choose to do the next level, as well, or does choosing one mean the others are locked out, so to speak?

Be kind. Have fun.

Do not let slings and arrows blind me to the small joys of life: early morning coffee, purring cat, amber glow from lightshade. One may wait forever for lottery jackpot or tango in the moonlight so make sure to enjoy what is here.

As I have been informed - "You're a long time dead" (Thanks Grandma).
