 last night i went to see the play evita in charlotte, which was really interesting. i didn't really know much about the production or the woman, so i learned a lot. i also went to goodwill the other day and got three pairs of pants and three shirts so that i have some clothing for spain.  i feel all over the place--my stuff is everywhere and so disorganized. that is my mission for today: fix this problem.

but i'm back in fort mill. i don't know what to say about that. back on facebook, too. i don't know what to say about that either. except, i'm ready to go to spain.

 great weekend so far! yesterday i went biking for 16 miles on this beautiful trail over in west ashley. it went through forest and marshy area and it was really gorgeous. it makes me so happy to be alive ( Read more... )

contra dancing friday night was super fun and smoking pot yesterday was...an experience. i wrote an interesting dissertation while i was high, and i do feel that my view on things has changed a little. i (predictably) feel less stressed about everything in my life right now. but i (less predictably) also feel more ready to start working hard again ( Read more... )

 today, on the street, i saw a guy i tutored and we said hi and he asked me how i was doing and was really genuine about it. i remember last semester after his final, he emailed me to thank me for my help and how much he appreciated it. and when i tutored him, he was appreciative of my time, had good questions, and really wanted to learn ( Read more... )

 i'm surprised at how quickly i get lonely. i've been alone for a little over 24 hours and i feel kind of mope-y. i definitely needed some alone time, but i guess not this much alone time! i haven't said a word all day except for when i was singing in the shower. that's kind of weird ( Read more... )
