last night i went to see the play evita in charlotte, which was really interesting. i didn't really know much about the production or the woman, so i learned a lot. i also went to goodwill the other day and got three pairs of pants and three shirts so that i have some clothing for spain. (for the record: it cost me $21 for all of that. i don't understand how people spend so much on clothing.)
both of my grandmothers sent me money for spain. one of them sent me a considerable sum. i didn't need it, but now i don't even feel remotely worried about money before, during, or after my trip. i really appreciate it and i'll probably splurge on some local wines now.
in addition, i've been doing a lot of pleasure reading, which has been phenomenal. i enjoy it so much, though it sometimes takes over my life. better than television, i suppose.
