AWW D: So does that mean you don't want to know about the Gigantic T-Rex that Torchwood keeps in the Basement that escapes and eats everyone? Damn. Oh well, I guess your better off waiting to find out about that yourself xD
I wouldn't quite say Torchwood was bad enough to need 'saving' but he did an awesome job.
I adored Gwen this episode, she was sweet, smart, and funny. If anything she's closer to being a femenist symbol now than she's ever been. She's a smart, capable, hard working women. She was a police officer, now works for special ops. Jobs people might consider more male dominated. But, and here's the thing, she dosen't 'pay' for her success by becoming, essentially, a man. She is still femenine, but JUST as capable as any of the guys on the show. It's nice.
*hides because she only knows a little about feminist theory in regards to TV*
I will never understand your Ianto love. Seriously xD
I wouldn't quite say Torchwood was bad enough to need 'saving' Eh, it kinda was. Jack's character definitely needed some saving. And he managed quite well with that, really. RTD, I mean.
If anything she's closer to being a femenist symbol now than she's ever been. What I meant was that she's not one of those women who are only on the show because the writer wants a strong women on the show. Like Buffy, or like every female JJ Abrahms character ever. In CoE, Gwen's a strong character who happens to be a woman. And that's awesome.
They were! I loved how his sister's husband was a disgusting asshole at first, but by the end, you couldn't help liking him. RTD character magic, that.
I've already been spoiled for 1 and 2, so it's okay. But I won't spoil you! Carry on. :)
Hee...Torchwood. The most un-secret secret organization on the planet. :) Oh and, Hooray! for Ianto, all the time. He's so much more than a coffee fetcher, yes? I love him. Ahem. Okay, I'll stop now.
