[Insert long rant about cliff-hangers and how hard they suck, which I seriously don't have the energy to make right now]
Also, why are we getting extreme slashiness from everyone but the fandom OTP? Do the Power That Be not know what their fans want, or do they not realize what they're doing? (Okay, that last one is more likely.)
It makes me very happy that you went from not knowing what a TARDIS is to using it as a metaphor for time travel machines in general. There is not enough love for Dr. Who in fandom.
The only two reasons why I didn't watch Dr. Who myself was that for once, I didn't know it existed, and for another, I didn't know there was a time machine in it. Me, I'm a sucker for time travel. And the TARDIS is just about the coolest time machine there is :).

Don't! Don't you start complaining about which particular pairing you want. It's slash! On screen! What else is there that one could possibly want? ;) I'm just saying, coming from a fandom where slash on screen is like, totally out of the question, where the characters are too manly to even be proper friends, this feels like Christmas and birthday at once. Sure, I'd like to see some on screen McShep, too, but hey, there's still the whole 20 episodes of season 4... :)
