I am totally wasted - 6 kinds of Christmas cookies in one day will wreck the back, the feet... and tomorrow is worse. Many hours will be spent, rolling out hundreds of gingerbread and sugar cookies. I do the work, my mom will make frosting, my sister... is making lunch. Everybody wins

No, I'd be delighted. Hmmmm. Hard to summarize. Cradle Catholic, parochial school grades 1-12 PLUS a strong Catholic women's college. Nearly became a nun but somehow ended up part pagan. My roomie said if I could have been ordained I'd be a cardinal by now, very nice compliment, and yes, I DO have a theology degree, and a hefty background in religous history. Everybody's religion. I have respects for most traditions and have friends who are Jewish, Muslim, witches, Buddhist. I myself like much of the, well, trappings of Catholicsim but have problems with most forms of organized Christianity. I believe in God, the Mother Almighty... as well as the Father. I TRUST in the female divine being more than the male perhaps. I kind of like Tolkien's notion of the One with the other images of the divine reflections/aspects, but why the heck is the One always referred to as He???
