Okay, so I got home from work and I wasn't tired. So I walked straight past the pile of clean washing I need to put away and sat down at my computer. You should ignore the laundry more often! *grin* I love this (but you probably knew I would because I'm fascinated by the way the two of them fit so perfectly together). Liked the fact that Ianto saw the differences and Jack saw the similarities. That fits with their mindsets. Very thought-provoking, which I always love so thank you very much!

Really clever sory told from the two POVs let's us see so much more about each character. Love the bit about hesitating before telling the truth, it is so spot on! Will make me pay closer attention when I watch in future ;) I also never made the Grey connection, it is bloddy unfare that Jack got so arsey with Ianto when he has his own personal psycho on ice! What has happened to him post COE I wonder? Has he thawed and been wandering around the streets of Cardiff in his post apocolyptic chic???
P.S Debenhams is a department store in case you are US based, so reckon Ianto's dad was a shope assistant, probably in menwear, a little 'elaboration' and glorification but not an outright lie, goes well with your story :)
