So far I'm not so impressed with the new "Google Rival" search engine cuil.com. It is not hard at all to give it quite reasonable queries for which it returns no results at all, suggesting I've made a typo or that I've put in too many search terms. "2007 oscar for best director" is one such search

No matter how great their search engine turns out to be, their name will be their downfall.

Hint: If the pronunciation is not obvious from the spelling (and vice versa), you have not placed your product on the path of least resistance.

Yeah, that too, but I'll save that comment until I actually find the thing moderately useful. Call me an old-fashioned geek, but I say function first, marketing second.
