A bit of a break from Deserving. I think we all deserve it. *rimshot*

What happens when Mary Sue's abusive Death Eater ex, who happens to be a canon character who isn't actually evil in the books, rises from the dead as a malevolent ghost with the help of an unaccountably still alive Voldemort and the Greek god Hades?
( Betrayed Revenge is the fic that aims to answer that question... )

This post is old, but:

Oh yes, she can't be a Mary Sue because she's endearingly clumsy. The Stephenie Meyer defence. Of course, this just raises further questions as to how the hell exactly she qualified as an Auror.

Well, Tonks managed it, apparently. Although I suppose one could ask the same question about her, but at least there's a canon example.

I think Tonks made up for nearly failing Stealth and Tracking at Auror school by acing Concealment and Disguise without having to try. And she's intelligent and a talented witch in her own right.

Jaiden, meanwhile, has none of that going for her. We can infer that she's supposed to be at or near the top of her class by how she became Head Girl, but we don't see any real evidence of it.

Don't worry about replying to old posts. I welcome discussion on all the sporkings, not just the ones that are currently active. :)
