That's if the guards don't run them off first. Because even if they were as powerful wizards as Neil wants us to think, I'd still bet on the guards.

If the Buckingham Palace guards caught 'em, I'd picture Harry, Hermione, and Luna acting like American tourists toward them, despite being British citizens and two of them being muggle-raised.

It's most noticeable in the case of characters like Hermione, where it blatantly contradicts canon characterisation, but pervades the entire fic.

Especially considering how this sexist fanfic even fails at being properly sexist, what with Harry just having a couple of rings lying around and needing to be urged on by an ELEVEN YEAR-OLD in order to work up the nerve to propose to his twoo wuv.

Exposed!Hogwarts has been established as a good school with supportive staff (in the case of Snape, far more supportive than he is in canon) so it doesn't make any sense that they'd just abandon her and not do everything they could to help her.

*scoffs*

Almost too accurate. I don't think he said anything like that outright, but the implication was so clear he might as well have.
