Harry in this fic couldn't be more obviously evil if he had the word "evil" printed on his shirt, and yet the author makes Pomfrey and McGonagall so unlikeable and OOC that it's hard to side with them either. Basically nobody comes out of Deserving looking good, and Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy ensues.
It's sort of like Hitler and Gaddafi- yeah, Hitler's worse, but they're both horrible people.
