Really like this interlude. The insecurities feel real, but I like the way each person deals with it in a way true to him or herself. I also like that we're left with a strong sense of hope and healing.
I really love the idea of the four of them living in the country! That was my favorite image in this piece. I was also intrigued by the crew's reactions to Dael (well at least Uhura and Chapel's reaction).
Took me a few days to find time to read this properly but that was well worth the wait. So many of their individual self-doubts here feel so valid and real - especially Dael, there was something about her being ready to move on that felt so reasonable and right. The reassurances that come afterwards almost seem too good to be true but this being Draws I'm sure that's not the final word by a long shot. *g*
Hello from Beijing! Sorry I wasn't able to beta this one, but glad that izzyfics was able to help you out. I should be back and ready when the next installment is ready.
I liked the interlude -- I could really relate to Dael. Glad McCoy is getting his act together. And the dream of the farm -- such a great fantasy of Jim's

Of course you're onto something - Draws is never a straight line *cough* but I'll deliver the happy ending, I swear :)
