-...You know what? I don't even remember why I like Ryo. It's been so long, and on top of that my reasons have changed over time. Most of all I think I love how he's the center of everyone's attention and yet so socially inept it borders on retarded. Whether awkward and doofy or sociopathic, those are not the smiles of a guy who has any idea what he's doing in basic human interactions.

-Exploitation of Death as a Revolving Door. It always irks the shit out of me and he was particularly gratingly pointless upon taking his turn.

-This is tough, but I really liked his duel with Judai at the end of season 1. I thought it was a great ep for character revelation as well as quietly setting up his later fall. Also his duel with Sameshima. And the whole ep of him moping around like an emo derp, whining about fair play, and then flinging himself gleefully off the deep end and donning pants that didn't match his top. I feel really fabulous for noticing that but I always do; he and Darkness!Fubuki always look like they're wearing the

Well, once again all of your opinions are awesome, but I've gotta say that the bit about his outfits is what I definitely agree with. Dude knows how to dress for comfort and his clothes are totally like the sorts of clothes I wear too.

And yes, MANRY FASE. There will never be another like it.

Also, there's nothing wrong with a bit of Jounouchi & Mai, since the series gave it such an interesting build up. It's just a shame nothing really conclusive came of it. As for him and Honda being bros, they are one of the best examples of guy friendships in the series. It made me die a little inside in this fandom to come across this one girl babbling that the two of them aren't bros because it "took away" from Jounouchi's friendship with Yuugi. Just... what?

Well, nothing really came of it I think because that's not how most shonen series roll...and YGO had a very strong focus on 'friendship' instead; I think Takahashi is even on record saying that Jouno and Mai were just friends.

...How the hell does Jouno being epic bros with Honda take away from his friendship with Yuugi? BRODOM IS NOT LIKE MARRIAGE. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE. Hrgle.

Also. Dude, I'm freaking out and having a general fangirl moment over here, because I just found out that KENN is voicing another main character in an upcoming series! Saw the first episode and immediately recognized his voice. *breathes into a paper bag*

The series is called Uchuu Kyoudai/Space Brothers and it's based on a seinen manga. I'm really curious how he'll play out the role, because it seems somewhat different than the mostly regular shounen work he's done so far. ^^
