When I first started playing sims I made Claudius the bald roman guy and he sucked at cooking so eventually I let him go for a swim and took the ladder out... that's rad that the sims 2 adds a little depth to the characters by letting them die, instead of having to kill them off.
Yeah. I like aging aspect of The Sims 2. However, the NPCs do not age unless you decide to have them move in, send them to college, or get the Free Time expansion (in which up to three NPCs can be designated as BFFs).
I totally would not mind if Mortimer died. He's a pain in the butt, he keeps getting jealous when Bella makes friends, and he's not very nice. But I only have old skool Sims, so he won't be dying of old age I guess, and I'm unwilling to kill my Sims off - at least, not yet. So I'm stuck with him.
