So... it's been like three months since I told my parents about Katie, the three of us, the whole big thing. And when they took me out to dinner... last weekend I think? Maybe the weekend before? For my birthday (finally... Mom's been so busy lately with the store that was the first chance they had really), we didn't even discuss it at all.

i think that the situation is a sticky one.. because people are entitled to be against something they don't agree with
But at the same time.. it's rough to have people dismiss out of hand, something you care about
And this is why I often don't talk to people about stupid things I do until I have come to a more encompassing perspective (which sometimes never comes)
I agree, however, that if it's bothering you (ange) you should bring it up with them, rather than letting them avoid it.
