  • "The Cheerleader from the West": Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Palin, but pointing out that she shouldn't be referred to frequently as "The Cheerleader from the West" has merit. I don't remember George W. Bush constantly being called "The Cheerleader from Connecticutt."

Yeah, I don't get the sexist attacks on Palin. It's so stupid - there is plenty of legitimate stuff to attack - her stand on pretty much every issue that is important to me is completely WRONG. But no, they're showing pictures of her in a bathing suit, and speculating about her parenting skills. What is wrong with people? I'm starting to think that the majority of people in this country are completely bigoted, sexist ignoramuses. (Okay, so I'm not starting to think it; I've thought it for a long time. I just keep hoping something will happen to prove me wrong. *keeps hoping*).

Exactly. There are so many things that could be picked apart and yet they're not. It's ridiculous. God forbid this country debate the real issues instead of things that don't have direct bearing to the leading of this country.

Is it really? LOL! I actually wondered about that, but never bothered to investigate. The whole thing was just so obnoxious.
