I moved around a lot, and I always liked unpacking a whole lot more than packing. Maybe it's that starting somewhere instead of ending something. Feels very satisfying.
I can't really develop a local life. I always have to travel at least two hours to get anywhere interesting. Maybe you'll have much better luck than me.
LOL... it's like reading my own mind. Maybe it's the phenomena of moving out that makes us feel like we're not making use of our time, I don't know, but I totally get where you're coming from with the art and the sewing and all of that. So much I want to do, but it doesn't ever get done... can I still do it? Maybe it *IS* something about moving out. I wonder.
