You guys are just . . . so cute. Seriously, I love reading about these little, seemingly unimportant life-related things. I'm so happy for you all. ;-D

I moved around a lot, and I always liked unpacking a whole lot more than packing. Maybe it's that starting somewhere instead of ending something. Feels very satisfying.

I can't really develop a local life. I always have to travel at least two hours to get anywhere interesting. Maybe you'll have much better luck than me.

Our life sounds so nice and homey when you talk abut it shine. And craft time? sounds like mad fun times :)

LOL... it's like reading my own mind. Maybe it's the phenomena of moving out that makes us feel like we're not making use of our time, I don't know, but I totally get where you're coming from with the art and the sewing and all of that. So much I want to do, but it doesn't ever get done... can I still do it? Maybe it *IS* something about moving out. I wonder.
