Dear Lit folks (and other qualitative analysts):

What do you all think of the use of Google search returns as a cultural text? I mean the search return itself - not as the departure point for other research.

I'm handing out the following (or something similar) to my practical criticism class, and could use a bit of feedback.

Wow...that looks pretty awesome! Definately an interesting tool for pop culture ideological analysis. Now my handout is going to look so feeble...

On another note, right on! Glad to run into a classmate...I mostly just use lj for keeping in touch with the friends back home, so it's cool to incorporate another region into the mix. See you on friday!
