HELLO!!! Also omg I went into my (tiny) Repulsion tag and sure enough, a tag comment exists where I'm like I wanna vid ittt! Lolol. I wish I had more time for vidding all my impulses but thankfully I was recruited to make a premiere vid for the Brand New Classic Hits vidshow at this year's Vividcon and I was like YESS I CAN FINALLY MAKE THAT REPULSION VID! Btw, since you're a fan of older sources, you might wanna check out the stuff that played in that vidshow.

Ok I'm just gonna briefly flail about the movie. OMG IT IS SOOO GOOD AND SUPER TIMELESS! Like holy shit, her madness is treated in such a surprisingly MODERN way (as taken to be ptsd from childhood trauma). I was stunned. I think the last time I'd seen something that pure on the subject actually was Twin Peaks/Fire Walk with Me. And not surprisingly, the Radiohead song that made this vid actually came from a Laura Palmer fanmix I collaborated on a with ohvienna (we both did that Lynch vid too!). It all comes full circle lol!

Lol I love how many people mention film school when talking about this vid. :) Annoyingly, I didn't study it in film school! x( But I'm sure if I had, it probably would be my fav film to ever study. Bc I love it so. It really transcends its time period. (Very Lynchian, too.) Sorry, I could blab about Repulsion all day lol. Thank you soooo much for watching! :')
