It is less cool that the story that you see when you open Yahoo today is about Sarah Palin's history as a beauty queen and her workout habits. SO RELEVANT.

I'm in Austin, all moved into my dorm. I've so far avoided seeing anyone I know, but I don't think that can last. Also, I don't think the fact that I think that's a good thing is a positive sign.

If you ever want to watch a movie that will totally make you want to die, I recommend Dancer in the Dark. Fucking gorgeous, a bizarre take on the whole concept of a musical, and Bjork is amazing. But it will definitely make you want to die.

I am pretty much counting on BNV to fix my life right now. If it doesn't, I might just die. But I felt this same way last year and it actually worked then, so maybe things will go right for me again. Eleven days.

I don't miss a single thing about UT. I've been going through the various things that I kind of, sort of enjoyed there, trying to feel a little bit of nostalgia about them, and I cannot summon it. I am the most nostalgic person in history, people. This has to be a sign.
