[Jackie hears the voice before she sees him, and she's out of the room in a few seconds to see if Kirika and Liz heard it too. When she sees Kid standing there she isn't sure whether to hit him, cry, or hug him.

She settles for standing there and pretending she isn't quite as relieved as she is. Kid didn't remember how close they used to be anyway so there wasn't any use.]

This is going to start getting a little old you realize? [Her voice is teasing because it makes it easier to swallow over the lump in her throat.]
