Yuletide is over, and it's time to collect recs for the fics I've read so far that I found enjoyable. Because otherwise I'll forget them, and then go wandering for hours on AO3 trying to find them again.

We do amputations at work occasionally (I can think of six we've done this year, and I'm probably forgetting some) and they're usually a huge success.
