Hi everyone,
Need some ideas. My boyfriend is going overseas in June for about 3 months. He doesn’t have a return date (open end ticket) that has made this whole thing harder on me so I decided to have a nice weekend together before he goes away and to celebrate his birthday, which is in June as well. Riding the Ferries for a while could be a nice way to eat a few hours. Ferry to Manly, lunch on the beach, ferry back?

You could do the bridge climb?
Or if funds are an issue you could get the ferry to somewhere and have a nice lunch?

wander the art gallery?
picnic lunch in the park near it?
walk across the bridge to the luna park?
ferries all sorts of places
coffee at the lindt shop in martin place?

check luggage into secure locker at central
then tram to china town
then maritime museum or the aquarium or powerhouse museum
then walk across pyrmont bridge
then haymarket markets followed by lesuirely stroll through china town mall with lunch followed by dessert from the chinese bakery at the start of the mall (nr covent garden pub on the corner)
then walk to centrepoint
then coffee at QVB
then check into hotel :)

or you could just go to the hotel and im sure they will hold your luggage until checkin time.

ah yes. that is also good.

also, theres a neat pub on the corner of pitt and ... something... a block or two up from the mall called the edinburgh castle which would be a nice place for an end of tour beer or two.
