Breaking Tradition This New Year
My grandparents were from the south and every New Year’s Eve there was traditional dishes of some sort of pork, black-eyed peas or hoppin’ john, collard or turnip greens and cracklin’ cornbread. School Daze
I am going to do a mural for a public school next month on New York Cares Day, October 23rd. I went today to see the spaces I have been allocated, and to meet the principal. This day which we will NEVER FORGET
September 11th is a hard day to take. After what happened here in NY 8 years ago, it will always be a day of reflection, sorrow, pain and grief. As I watch them read the names of the heros and heroines lost on that day, my heart is sad. I'm enjoying
Book signing, it makes for interesting conversations; trying to explain my pen name as well as my chosen genre. Somehow I feel I should be working on another novel, not plugging this one!

Scratching One
My very first novel in the "Romantica" genre has been approved and will be available on Amazon.com in a couple of days. Yes, I'm excited, but also drained. That book took a lot out of me. I better recharge before editing the collections.
