So I finally heard back from Nexcess today. On the advice of one of the old webmistresses, I had sent them an email basically asking this:

How do nexcess get to cock this up and walk away from this? They did the migration, they made whatever mistake, surely they have a responsibility to put it right?

While I very much miss Ashwinder, I appreciate everything you've done and are doing to bring the site back up. I wish I had any sort of knowledge regarding these sorts of issues, but unfortunately, I'm not especially gifted where technology/programming is concerned.

I'm so sorry that this is proving to be such a headache! As a non-author, I once again must say how much I appreciate Ash and Occlumency. Do whatever needs to be done in terms of purges so that the stories can be read again.

And I agree with Shiv5468: surely this is Nexcess' fault, not yours?
