Still Down on Ashwinder and Occlumency

So I finally heard back from Nexcess today. On the advice of one of the old webmistresses, I had sent them an email basically asking this:

I've been given advice from one of the old webmistresses on how to fix the problems with Ashwinder and Occlumency that is this...

Delete ALL NON-authors on Ashwinder and Occlumency archives. Have NEXCESS do

Is there any chance you can get Nexcess to give you a backup of both the full database and the site's config.php file before doing anything drastic to the site? I'm wondering if it might be possible for someone to set up a really stripped-down, read-only version of the site so that people can access their reviews/favorite stories/etc. even if they don't get carried over when Occlumency & Ashwinder eventually go back up.

I'm not sure I know quite enough SQL and PHP to be able to help with this, but I'd be game for trying...

I just want to echo what everyone else is saying - thank you so much for all the work you're doing on this. I'm sorry that I can't offer any help, I have no idea how to do just about anything technological. And yeah, I don't really understand how this isn't Nexcess' responsibility to fix...
