003 [Video]

[Oh look, it's Michael. He's deigned it necessary to make a post, doing so from on top of some large building somewhere in the city. He likes high up places, and it's a bright sunny day to enjoy it, too.]

It's certainly not dull here, I'll admit that. There could be worse places. I've been to some.

[And would be in the future, apparently, but ( Read more... )

If all follows the usual patterns, yes.

[He smiles kindly.]

There should be a new event two days from now.

[He smiles in return as well.]

Hello, Yuca. Any more to the pattern than the timing?

Michael.

[Nodding in the same respect.]

Not that anyone has been able to tell with the substance of the events themselves. Sometimes the events are earth-shattering, sometimes it's merely inconsequential. As for the timing... it seems fairly consistent. Other than that, there doesn't appear to be a pattern.

So they're just whatever the spirits running this place think up? I guess that'll keep things interesting, if inconvenient.

I assume no one's figured out why they do it, or I would've heard about it by now.

All of them, Michael?

[He's teasing. Mostly. Lucifer's been good lately.]

[He looks over, a bit amused.]

It was a better way to state it than, 'I might not answer any I don't like.'

[He smiles and walks slowly down to stand with him]

And which questions would those be?

Anything too prying, of course. Anything that might be harmful to us for the public to know. That sort of thing.

[Okay, so she kind of told Toushirou she would stay away, but technically, her 'fine' was to say that she was perfectly okay with Hitsugaya talking to Michael. So really, it's not breaking a promise.

Besides, if this guy is in charge, being on good terms with him could help Castiel and the other angels that don't suck live a little easier.]

That's comforting.

[She looks curious.]

[He can tell she's curious, and he tilts his head just slightly in the angel way.]

I understand it might be troubling to have angels fighting in a city you're attempting to live in.

[Well, Michael is the one in charge. And she kind of feels like she has a fugitive in her house. She just wants to get a read on him.

There is a tiny lipquirk..]

Understatement.

[He's unbothered, patiently watching her. He appears far more human than most of his siblings, but like them when it comes to eye contact, there's obviously something strange.]

You're one of the more prominent people here, aren't you?

[How many of these damn angels are there?]

As long as there aren't any more rainbow sheep. Any longer and I would have started using them for target practice.

[TOO MANY Six.]

They were kind of ugly things, but the reactions to them were pretty entertaining. And they were harmless.

I'd rather have dealt with a Dalek, and now they are a ridiculous looking race. Glorified pepper shakers.

There's nothing worse than gods that run on a schedule. The random BS I can handle. This is just weird.

Not just on a schedule, but on a schedule with completely unpredictable actions themselves.

It is strange. I want to know why this is going on; what there is to gain from it.

It's still a schedule, Michael.

And that'd be the other thing that pisses me off. At least when I did it, there was a point.

Maybe they're just more organized than the gods you're used to, Gabriel.

[Because come on. Pagan gods weren't exactly the most collected and stable things ever.]

Yes. Presumably there is one and we simply don't know it yet.
